PATRICK DENNIS
Title
Patrick Dennis is an executive leader with 26 years of construction and
development experience putting in place over $2 billion worth of assets in
multiple markets across the country. His career focus has been leading the
design and construction process for prominent nationwide real estate
development and construction companies where he has forged a solid reputation
and record of accomplishment for building and leading top performing teams.
Starting his career in the general contracting business, Patrick soon found an
inclination toward working with developers and their design teams. Departing the
pure construction path, he immediately went to work for a boutique development
company to bring to life a 22-acre central Houston retail site and an adjacent
high-rise tower, the first of its kind to be developed in metro Houston since the oil
bust. Wanting to further hone his construction management acumen, he did one
more tour with a large national general contractor to help launch their Houston
office, transitioning their business model from a focus on tenant improvement
toward large scale, ground up projects. From his experience working hand in hand
with developers, Patrick once again found himself leading development and
construction teams from inside developer/ builder companies, the next phase
taking him across the country for projects in more than 20 cities in 7 states and
building programs of $800 million, $1 billion and $500 million, finally settling back
in Texas full time in 2018.
